Donald E. Able, 90, of Ft. Wright, KY, passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2023. He was a member of St. Agnes Church and former member of Holy Cross Church and was a U.S. Army Veteran. Don was a dedicated husband and father who was an active volunteer at church, work and school, especially Holy Cross Parish. He loved spending time with his friends and family and enjoyed playing golf, fishing and going to the casino. Don was preceded in death by his wife: Jeanne Able and 2 grandsons: Branden and Don. He is survived by his children: Kathy (Randy) Simmons, Michael (Sandi) Able, David Able, Don (Lynne) Able, Janice (Tom) Foster, Nancy (Henry) Noble and Sandy (Rob) Blanchet; 19 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and countless nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place on Friday, December 15, 2023 at St. Agnes Church beginning at 9:30 AM and lasting until the Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM. Entombment will be private immediately following Mass. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to: Holy Cross Church, 3612 Church Street, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015 and/or St. Agnes Church, 1680 Dixie Highway, Ft. Wright, KY 41011.
