Donald "Don" Richard Elhajj, 86, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at his residence in Covington, KY. Don was born in Brewer, ME and grew up in Winterport, ME. He was a Veteran of the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict, a graduate of the University of Maine, worked for the government in Washington DC and retired from Macy's Department Stores after 25 years of service. Don enjoyed hiking, camping, gardening and outdoor activities. He lived in the Tampa Bay/St. Petersburg, Florida area for 50 years until moving to Covington, KY to be near his family. Don is survived by his loving wife of 61 years: Genevieve (Perkins) Elhajj; daughter: Pam Hill of Covington; sister: Patricia Clark of Florida; brothers: Lionel and Gibran Elhajj of Maine and granddaughter: Taylor Hill of Covington.
