Harris, Donna, David and all other members of Billie’s family: We grieve with you for the loss of such a wonderful person. One of our deepest bonds with Billie came through her love for our lake and woods, and we will never see a beautiful tree, wildflower or hummingbird without thinking of her. With love and sympathy — Mike and Roger
David, Donna and family. I extend my deepest sympathies in your loss. Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Harris, Donna, and David, I saw with sadness Billlie’s orbituary in the paper. I have many fond memories of Billie as she entrusted both Donna and David to me as their first experience away from Mom and Dad’s care. These types of memories are the real pay for teachers. I finished my teaching career as a fifth grade teacher at Kenton. I, too, lost my husband to cancer in 2011. Many days are still sad, but each day is a little easier. I had hoped to attend the services today, but my daughter and her 2 boys are living with me at the present. The youngest grandson has a football game at 11:30 today. My prayers and best wishes to you and your family as you try to return to ‘normal’, whatever that is to be. Love to all, Bert
Billie is safe with God. Her strugggles are over. When our loved ones leave us after a long struggle there is a sense of relief for them. May these thoughts give you comfort as you grieve the loss. Lovingly yours, Geneva Fisher
I would like to offer up my condolences to the family. May the God of all comfort soothe your hearts with his promise in the Holy Scriptures of a future resurrection. Until that promise becomes a reality may you draw close to God for he cares for you.–John 5:28, 29
Donna and family, we send our deepest sympathy to all of you at this time of great loss.
