Donna E. Durham, 72, of Wilder, KY passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2016. She was a retired Educator with Catholic Charities in Latonia, KY and a member of Cristo Rey Church. Donna is survived by her Brother: Robert “Duke” Durham; Caregiver: Sister Juana Mendez, SC and many Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and Close Friends. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, May, 20, 2016 at 7:00 PM at Cristo Rey Church, 947 Donaldson Highway, Erlanger, KY 41018 and also a Memorial Service with her family in her hometown of Dearborn, MI on Sunday, May 22, 2016. Donna was my classmate at Sacred Heart High School. She showed a remarkable ability, even at that early age, to get along with everyone. Her sense of fair play was apparent on and off the basketball court. Her life as an educator was a positive influence on countless youth. She will be missed by all who knew her.
I met Donna when she taught a year at St. Ursula Academy in Cincinnati. She was, then, my connection to CSS when I was job hunting in 1987. She let me know about a new position that was opening in the School Counseling Program. I had 15 happy years at CSS, and Donna was part of that! You all have my sympathy and prayers.
I plan to attend the memorial Mass at Cristo Rey. I hope to connect with family there!

I meant to say Donna, not Connie. I had so many “older sisters” that treated by younger sister and I like family.
Sorry for your loss. I got to know Connie in David, KY when I was young and my parents moved our family there. Then over the years at the many reunions. I remember her wonderful laugh which was very contagious! Prayers for her entire family during this sad time.
