Dorothy (Dot) F. Cleves Darpel, age 86 of Covington, KY formerly of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Fri., Feb. 24, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Health Care in Edgewood, KY. She was a Homemaker, member of Hilltoppers, Happy Timers, Rovers Senior Groups, Hyde Park Center for Older Adults and St. Agnes Church in Fort Wright, KY. She was preceded in death by a Sister: Ruth Cleves Mullen. Dot is survived by her Husband: Bernie Darpel of Covington, KY, 7 Daughters: Paula (Kenny) Cole of Cincinnati, OH, Elaine Bennett of Cincinnati, OH, Lois (Bruce) Johnson of Cincinnati, OH, Janet Darpel of Cincinnati, OH, Anita Koebbe of Dry Ridge, KY, Jill (Dean) Campeotto of Nashville, TN and Nancy (Jim) Rapp of Independence, KY, 1 Son: Rick (Kate) Darpel of Blue Ash, OH, 1 Sister: Mary Jane (Bill) Coyle of Fort Wright, KY, 1 Brother: Jim (Ruth) Cleves of Villa Hills, KY, 23 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild. The Visitation will be on Tues., Feb. 28, 2012 at St. Joseph Church 2470 Lorraine Court Crescent Springs, KY 41017 from 10:15 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM. Interment in Mother of God Cemetery in Fort Wright, KY. Memorials to: St. Charles Lodge and/ or Hyde Park Center for Older Adults. Connley Brothers Funeral Home in Latonia, KY is serving the family.
