Dorothy "Dot" M. Malott, 79, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2019, surrounded by her loving family, at her residence in Latonia, KY. She was a nursing assistant with St. Charles Nursing Home and a member of Holy Cross Church. Dot loved gardening and dogs and she dedicated her life to her family. She was preceded in death by her parents: Edmund and Dorothy Harmeling; sisters: Alma McGraw, Jessie Martin, Rita Taylor and Edna Mueller; brothers: Jim Harmeling and George Riess. Dot is survived by her sons: Don (Brenda) Malott, Gregory J.(late: Karen) Malott, Jeffory A. Malott and Michael (Peggy) Malott; daughters: Gina Drake, Lori (Steve) Gouge and Tonya (late: Tom) Fugate; 22 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Friday, August 16, 2019 from 10:00 A.M. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 P.M. (Noon) at Holy Cross Church, 3612 Church Street, Latonia, KY 41015. Interment will follow at Mother of God Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the League for Animal Welfare, 4193 Taylor Road, Batavia, Ohio 45103. Connley Brothers Funeral Home is serving the family.
