Dorothy Rose Otten, 92, a resident of Covington, KY, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2018. She was a 61 year member of St. Benedict Parish and a former Girl Scout Leader at St. Benedict. In her younger years she enjoyed bowling and more recently she loved the activities at Carmel Manor and spending time with her great- grandchildren. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband: Charles Otten and her son: Charles “Butch” Otten, Jr. She is survived by her daughter: Mary (Harry) Schneider; son: George Otten; sister: Mary Ann (Ray) Bowman; grandchildren: Michele Smith, Harry (Erica) Schneider, Heather (Brad) Hauser & Charles Otten; 9 great-grandchildern and 1 great-great-grandchild. Visitation will be on Friday, February 23, 2018 at St. Benedict Church, 338 East 17th. Street, Covington, KY 41014, from 10:30 A.M. until Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 P.M. (noon).
