June 5, 1943 - January 25, 2014
Douglas Cornett, Sr., age 70 of Latonia, KY passed away on January 25, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Health Care Hospice in Edgewood, KY. He retired after 25 years as Owner/Operator of D & D Cleaning in Latonia, KY, prior to that he was employeed by St. Elizabeth Hospital North in the Housekeeping Department. He was a member of Holy Cross Church and he enjoyed Gardening and loved his Pets. Douglas is survived by his Loving Wife: Bonnie Cornett of Latonia, KY; Daughters: Brenda Levan of Erlanger, KY and Tesla Cornett of Latonia, KY; Son: Douglas Cornett, Jr. of Latonia, KY; 1 Grandchild: Mark Alan Randall. The Visitation will be on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at Connley Brothers Funeral Home in Latonia, KY from 8:30 AM until Prayers at 10:40 AM, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM at Holy Cross Church. Brenda, I pray you and your family find strength and comfort in this time of deep need. Your hurt and grief run so deep. I can only imagine how hard this time must be for you and your family.

I always enjoyed talking to Doug when he worked in my animal clinic. He went the extra mile for me many times and he’ll remain among the fond memories of my years in practice. My sympathies to his entire family.
