Elaine W. Johnson, age 92 of Fort Mitchell, KY entered Eternal Rest at her Daughter’s home in Bowling Green, KY on April 28, 2013. She was a member of Madison Avenue Christian Church in Covington, KY, a Graduate of Holmes High School & Campbell Commerical College. Elaine was an Administrative Assistant with Proctor & Gamble, active with CWF and loved to play the Piano. She was preceded in death by her Husband; Harry J. Johnson, Jr. in 2001, 1 Brother and 3 Sisters. Elaine is survived by her Daughter: Sally (James) Brown of Bowling Green, KY; 1 Granddaughter: Amanda (Lee) Meeks and 1 Great Grandson: Braxton Waddell and several nieces and nephews. The Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at Highland Cemetery Chapel in Fort Mitchell, KY from 9 AM until the Funeral Service at 10 AM. Entombment in Highland Cemetery. I am so sorry to hear about your mother’s passing. I assumed that she was in a Assistive Living facility in Bowling Green, but really did not hear much else. Elaine sent me a letter after she had moved from Northern Kentucky when I was Stewardship Chair. She was positive and that is how I will remember her. It seemed that she was always looking out for the kids at church no matter how old we got. I am sorry that I could not make her memorial this morning, but already had two appointments scheduled. You and your family have my prayers. Take care.
