On behalf of myself, my sister Constance Simpson, and husband Marvin Williams, I offer our deepest, and most sincere condolences to Nancy, Vada, Emily and the rest of the Perry family. I loved Elisa Perry. I met her when she was quite young, ironically at a funeral, and we bonded immediately over so many different things like books, old pictures, old movies, anything old, thrifting, good gossip, laughter, Facebook friends, magic, spirituality, ghosts, and ... family matters. I'm told that she felt safe and surrounded by love with me and Marvin. We went together like "peas and carrots" ... until we didn't. I've missed Elisa terribly these last ten years, but even then, she was always in my heart. She will forever be in all of our hearts. With much love, and respect, Cousin Corey.

I’m so sorry... You always feel like you have time to mend broken things. In reality, that’s hardly ever the case. My aunt Lisa was like a sister to me growing up. She and the rest of the Perry family were always so good to me. I’m kicking myself for never sending the birthday card that I told myself I would send her over these last few years. We hadn’t spoke in probably a decade but I know that Lisa was a good person with such a beautiful heart. Life is queer with its twists and turns. I’ll never forget the many childhood memories that she played such a major roll in. She was my best friend for so many years. May she rest in peace. I’m offering my deepest condolences to the Perry/Smith family. Love always, Nia.
