Elizabeth Fuson Burns, 85, of Erlanger, KY, formerly of Highland Heights, KY, passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2016. She was a member of St. Joseph Church in Cold Spring, KY. Elizabeth enjoyed following the Big Red Machine and listening to Elvis music. She was preceded in death by her husband: Burchell Burns on May 17, 1991. Elizabeth is survived by her son: Rob Burns; step-son: Pete (Carol) Burns; grandchildren: Tamara Burns, Megan Burns Criss, Jonathan Burns and Lindsey Burns Saunders and great-grandchildren: Brady Criss and Alexander Criss. Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at St. Augustine Church, 1839 Euclid Avenue, Covington, KY 41014, from 10:30 A.M. until Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 P.M. (Noon). Gary, Kate, and I are so sad that dear Aunt Liz has left this life to re-join Uncle Bob and sisters Jo and Rita (my mother) in a higher place. May she rest peacefully with those loved ones. We pray Rob and Pete and Tamara and Maureen and all her special people here will take comfort in the love and happy memories of her we all share.
