Elizabeth C. Johnson, 86, of Latonia, KY passed early Monday morning, October 25, 2021. Born April 9, 1935, she lived her life surrounded by her family and friends who loved her deeply. She is preceded in death by her parents: Lucinda Miller Johnson and Everett Johnson; stepmother: Susie Johnson; brothers: Robert Johnson and Everett Johnson junior, and great grandson: Collin McComber. She is missed terribly by her four children: Rick Johnson, Becky Beharry (Rick), Charlene Fisk (Jeff Coker), and Meg Cottingham (Steve), her brother: John Stark (Marilyn), her 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews. Liz was a strong, fiercely independent, funny lady and a proud breast cancer survivor. She loved to help her children and family, and made sure we all knew she was there for us any time. Liz was well known for her incredibly delicious tomato crop each year, which took up most of her back yard. She would deliver bags of tomatoes each summer to doctors and friends, and those tomatoes were eagerly anticipated and enjoyed. She was nicknamed Gladys Kravitz after the nosy neighbor in Bewitched, and Liz always kept an eye out no matter where she was - she never missed anything. Liz was happy and generous and charming and loving, and her passing has left a huge hole in our hearts. A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 from 4PM until the memorial service at 6PM at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015. All are welcome! A Celebration of Life is being planned for later this year to joyously celebrate all the gifts Liz gave to us. Our hearts are too broken to truly celebrate just yet, but Mom would want us to send her off with a smile and a toast. Thank you all for your outpouring of love and support. I'm so glad to have met and laughed with you. If I had not met you, I'd have never known what was going on in this crazy neighborhood. I'm so sad to hear that you had to leave us. Reserve me a spot in the mansion. Tell Jesus "Hi" for me, but don't worry about it. He already knew I was gonna say that. Oh, and if there's some way that you can make my Lottery numbers come up more often, that'd be Great! See ya soon.

Oh how I will miss this Lady! You're so right, Mrs. Kravitz, always kept an eye out when I left my house! I never needed to worry. I just found out that my friend went home. I'll miss our talks on the front porch, and her sense of humor. May you rest in peace my friend.

Rick, Becky, Charlene and Meg, Your mom was the best. She was such a wonderful friend; we had so much fun together. I'm so sorry to hear she's crossed over. Liz was a true character, she lived life to the fullest and would treat everybody so well. She was also a fantastic cook. I loved when she would bring lunch to me at the beauty shop. There is a new bright and twinkling star in heaven tonight. With all my love to you "kids". Jackie

Liz you were one of a kind and I appreciate all our talks on your front porch. I always told you that the view from my front porch could not have been any better with all your flowers, and yard ornaments, and you sitting enjoying the day outside. You will truly be missed every day, I have already been missing you terribly as I expect to see you everyday when I arrive home from work. I know that you will bring smiles and laughs up in heaven as you did here on earth. May you rest peacefully. I will see you again someday, until then keep a seat warm and a beer cold for me when I get there.
