Elizabeth Thelma Berns, 97 of Latonia, KY passed away on Friday, January 22, 2021. She was a homemaker, a member of Holy Cross Church and she enjoyed gardening and line dancing. Betty was a fearless artist who enjoyed taking classes at Baker-Hunt Art and Cultural Center. She was the life of the party, a fabulous cook and a true adventurer. Betty was a nurturer, an amazing mother and grandmother who loved her hats, boots, music and margaritas. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband: George W. Berns. Betty is survived by her children: Pam (John) Vollmer and Joe (Mickey) Berns; grandchildren: Kristyn, Shane and Patrick and 5 great-grandchildren. Visitation will take place at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015 on Saturday, January 30, 2021 from 9:30 AM until the Catholic Prayer Service at 10:30 AM.
