Esther Lee Cornelius, 67, of Forest Park, OH passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2020. She was a loving mother and retired cook in the food service industry. Esther enjoyed watching UK sports, football, word search puzzles and reading. She was preceded in death by her husband: John Cornelius; father: Gola Johnson; brother: Kenny Johnson and daughter: Charley Jo-Lynn Cornelius. Esther is survived by her children: Christine (James) Sparks, Sean (Taryn) McDermott and Emily Cornelius; mother: Wilma Johnson; siblings: Kathy Stickles, Mary Dawn, Paul Johnson and Jeff Johnson; 13 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Due to current regulations services will be private and limited to 25 people. (Masks are Required). Connley Brothers Funeral Home, Latonia, KY is serving the family. In this time of pain and sadness, there are no words to help cope with your grief. I am but a stranger, but am not a stranger to that pain. Try to remember all the good times, and the joy you had theough the years...those memories will help you more than any words ever can. I am deeply sorry for the loss of a beautiful life. I may not of knew her personally, though I understand what it means to lose someone so close to you all! I am sure that she was an amazing women, who cared about many thing and many people! Please, everyone, keep pushing to do your best everyday, because you never know what tomorrow brings you!
