Frances D. Domb (nee Abrams), 87, of Union, KY, passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2024. She spent most of her adult life in Rockaway and West Caldwell, NJ, later moving to Ledgewood, NJ then to Kentucky where she spent the last 2 years. Frances held various titles, including mother, wife, aunt, and grandma Fran, but she was affectionately known as "Bubba" to many. She was a compassionate and resilient individual, finding fulfillment in aiding others and displaying unwavering dedication to her family. Often recognized as "the runner" for her helping nature, she took pleasure in cooking, specializing in dishes such as meatballs, stuffed cabbage, and fried cauliflower. Above all, her greatest joy stemmed from being with her family, particularly her grandchildren and five great grandsons. Her commitment to her children extended into her professional life, where she served as a teacher's aide at Dover Public Schools, later contributing her skills to Telepages in Parsippany, NJ, and Roche Pharmaceuticals in Branchburg, NJ. In her later years, she found delight in activities such as bingo, card games, and journal writing. Her influence will continue to resonate, ensuring that the values she imparted endure through the lives of those she touched. Frances was preceded in death by her parents: Carl and Anna Abrams; husband: Martin L. Domb; companion: Gerard Galasso and siblings: Charles Abrams, David (Pearl) Abrams, Cecelia (Herman) Eirinberg. She is survived by her daughters: Sheri (Robert) Wolfson, Gail (Jeff) Forlenza and Jill (Vincent) Gallo, Jr.; sister: Paula (the late: Robert) Blake; grandchildren: Lauren, Alyssa, Arielle, Stacie, Michelle, Jeff, Jr., Vincent, III, Dominick and Zachary and great-grandchildren: Antonio, Salvatore, Jed, Wes and Jeffrey, III. Connley Brothers Funeral Home, Covington (Latonia), KY is handling local arrangements. The Robert Schoem's Menorah Chapel, Paramus, NJ, will be handling a private interment in Cedar Park Cemetery in Emerson, NJ.
