Francis "Frank" Edward Groneck, 86, of Covington, KY passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2022. He worked as a graphic designer and later retired as a supervisor with Equitable Bag Company. Frank was a member of Holy Cross Parish where he sang in the choir and was active in many church ministries. He was an avid golfer, gardener and environmentalist. Frank enjoyed fishing and working as a volunteer in the cafeteria for Holy Cross High School and Elementary School. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years: Sue Stratman Groneck; children: Becky (Doug Lach) Groneck Moeller, Diana Groneck Daniels, Doug (Jenny) Groneck and Debbie Groneck; siblings: Jim (Karen) Groneck, Ellen (the late: Jim) Gabriel, Ed (Sherry) Groneck and Steve (Elaine) Groneck; dear friend: Esmeralda Gallagher; 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Frank was preceded in death by his siblings and their spouses: Alma (Herb) Hamlin and Marlene (Bill) Burdett. Visitation will take place at Holy Cross Church on Saturday, June 4, 2022 from 10:00 AM until the Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Connley Brothers Funeral Home, Covington (Latonia), KY is serving the family. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Holy Cross Restoration Fund, 3612 Church Street, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015. Ed and Sherry, Im so sorry to hear about Frank's passing,I know how much he and Sue mean to you. The only concellation is that his suffering is over.I know how much you both will miss him, but remember all the good memories, he is now in God's loving arms.
