Frank "Baldy" Edwin Menkhaus, 101, of Taylor Mill, KY passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 surrounded by his loving family in Edgewood, KY. He was a palletizer for the George Wiedemann Brewery Co. in Newport, KY and a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Taylor Mill, KY. Baldy enjoyed all sports especially golf and softball. He was a member of the N.K. Sports Hall of Fame for softball, loved joking with people, spending time with his family and friends and just enjoying life. Baldy was preceded in death by his loving wife: Rosemary Schlickman Menkhaus; sisters: Grace Perez and Florence Burke; and brothers: Joseph and Gilbert Menkhaus. He is survived by his daughter: Mary Jo Menkhaus; sons: David (the late: Jane) Menkhaus and James (Colleen) Menkhaus; grandchildren: Breanne (Brian) Daugherty and Brett Menkhaus and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Friday, August 2, 2019 from 9:30 A.M. until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. at St Anthony Catholic Church, 485 Grand Avenue, Taylor Mill, KY 41015. Interment will follow in Mother of God Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Redwood School and Rehabilitation Center, 71 Orphange Road, Ft. Mitchell, KY 41017 and/or DCCH Center for Children and Families, 75 Orphanage Road, Ft. Mitchell, KY 41017. Connley Brothers Funeral Home, Latonia, KY is serving the family.
