Franklin Ray Yancy, 88, of Taylor Mill, KY, passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2018. He proudly served his country during WWII, serving tours in both the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy. Mr. Yancy was a retired Construction Supervisor with Hoge-Warren and Zimmerman, a member of the N.R.A. and an avid UK Fan. He is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years: Joyce Yancy; son: Franklin Ray (Sharon) Yancey, II, sister: Sylvia Ann Shaefer; grandsons: Brendon Michael Yancey and Benjamin Royce (Cayla) Yancey and great-grandsons: Conner and Coen. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at StJude.org.
