Gary B. Berkemeier, 83, of Edgewood, KY passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2021. He was the retired owner/operator of Albert Berkemeier & Sons Painting and past Grand Knight of Bishop Carrell Council #0702. Gary loved to golf and he enjoyed reading books on U.S. History. He was preceded in death by his parents: Albert and Connie Berkemeier; son: Danny Berkemeier and brother: Roger Berkemeier. Gary is survived by his wife of over 40 years: Donna Hicks Berkemeier; children: Cindy (Dr. Larry) Kopczyk, Tammy (Nick) Scully, Shelley Rigg and Jeff (Judy) Berkemeier; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 10:00 AM until the Catholic Prayer Service at 11:00 AM at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery, Fort Mitchell, KY. Memorials are suggested to any Knights of Columbus Council.
