Gary E. Courtney, 83, of Edgewood, KY passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Fort Thomas, Kentucky. He was a Corporal in the U.S. Army serving during the Korean Conflict. Gary was a 1949 graduate of Holmes High School, life-time member of Pitbull Fitness Club in Latonia, KY, and attended Calvary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his Son: David E. Courtney. Gary is survived by his loving wife of 61 Years: Dorothy J. Courtney; Daughter: Karen (Rob) Ranney; Son: Steve (Janette) Courtney; 4 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 22, 2014 from 11:00 AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 1:00 PM at Connley Brothers Funeral Home in Latonia, KY. Interment and a Honor Guard Service will be at Highland Cemetery in Fort Mitchell, KY.

Steve-very sorry hear of the passing of Gary –big g. I had some wonderful times with ole g— and I really enjoyed him and the times we had, golfing etc. your dad had a great personality and I will always cherish the times and laughs we all had together. Me ,you, mucker,, and big g—-
