Gary Lee Wolfe, Sr., 72, of Elsmere, KY, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2023. He was a U.S. Army Veteran having served during the Vietnam Era. Gary was an avid fisherman and deer hunter. He enjoyed frisbee golf and attending Florence Freedom baseball games. Gary was preceded in death by his parents: Charles and Nancy Wolfe, Sr. and 6 brothers and sisters. He is survived by his loving wife: Christine Ann Jones-Wolfe; children: Christina (William) Sullivan, Heather Finley, Samantha (Antonio) Arellano and Gary (Inez) Wolfe, Jr.; step-children: Alexandra (Stephen) Burden, Damon (Samantha) Jones, Shawn (Destiny) Jones and Madison Jones; siblings: James Wolfe and Brenda (late: Barry) Purcell; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Visitation will take place on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015 from 10:00 AM until the Memorial Service at 12:00 PM (Noon). Entombment will take place at a later date at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown, KY. Memorials are suggested to: Wounded Warrior Project c/o https://support.woundedwarriorproject.org. Gary was the sweetest guy. I remember him giving me a deer roast. It was the best piece of meat . Now, I had all the kiddos and I didn’t tell them it was deer. Well, they ate a plate and even came back for seconds. That’s a memory I’ll never forget. He was a good man! Condolences to everyone! Much love 🙏🏼

Prayers for my family members, My uncle was a great man. All of his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews know this, he always made us laugh, always had a joke to tell or a silly nursery rhymes. Very seldom did he correct us his children different story. He is and always will be one of the greatest man I have ever had the privilege of loving and knowing. Christina Sullivan, Heather Finley, Gary jr.Jr., Samantha Arellano you all are in heart forever and always we was more like siblings than first cousins Uncle Gary is in heaven with Dax, aunt Carol, my mom, Richard, and his parents just another angel to protect us. I love you guys I am here if you need me. Just call.
