George Benton Sparks, III, 64, of Florence, KY, passed away Sunday May 4th, 2025. George spent most of his life as a security professional for the United States Government. He loved his Subaru and riding his custom Indian motorcycle. George enjoyed boating, scuba diving and water skiing. He also enjoyed target shooting and knives. George was preceded in death by his parents: George and Mary Sparks. He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years: Stephanie Mae Sparks; children: Cassandra Mae Sparks, Samantha Elizabeth (Richard Pocta, II) Antoni-Sparks; his newest (furry) son: Merlin Sparks; sister: Kim Sparks; granddaughter: Charlotte Mae Sparks; numerous cousins. George's "Last Hoorah" Celebration will take place on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 from 4:30 PM until 9:00 PM at the Florence Nature Park Event Center, 7200 Nature Park Drive, Florence, KY 41042.
