George E. Wira, 94, of Edgewood, KY passed away on Friday, April 15, 2016. He retired from Baxter Medical Healthcare & Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. George attended Calvary Baptist Church in Latonia, KY, he enjoyed donating his handy man services to people in need and he enjoyed working. He was preceded in death by his Wife: Betty J. Withorn Wira. George is survived by his Daughter: Georgiana (David) Hays; Granddaughters: Tracey Castro and Karen Clements; 5 Great-Grandchildren; Nieces: Billie Jane Poole and Grace W. Siereveld and Nephews: Joe Wira, Michael Wira and Thomas P. Withorn. Visitation will be on Thursday, April 21, 2016 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM and also on Friday, April 22, 2016 from 10:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at Calvary Baptist Church, 3711 Tibbatts Street, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015.
