Georgette Clare Lenihan, 86, of Covington, KY passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2016. She was a member of Holy Cross Church in Latonia, KY, Holy Cross 50 Club, St. Helens Society, Past Board Member of Taylor Mill Swim Club, Volunteer with Redwood School, Newport Catholic Mothers Club and she enjoyed playing Euchre and spending time with her Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Husband: John “Jack” F. Lenihan. Georgette is survived by her Daughter: Mary Beth (Mark) Droege; Sons: Timothy (Mary) Lenihan, Stephen (Sandra) Lenihan, Michael (Connie) Lenihan, Patrick (Chris) Lenihan, Daniel (Karen) Lenihan and Matthew Lenihan; 20 Grandchildren; 23 Great-Grandchildren and Twin Brother: George Fangmann. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Holy Cross Church, 3612 Church Street, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015. Entombment: Mother of God Cemetery in Fort Wright, KY. My mom (Freda Sharp) and I are so sorry to hear the passing of Mrs. Lenihan. She was a great lady and was always so nice to my family. May she have eternal peace with Mr. Lenihan. Our thoughts and prayers are with Danny, Matt, and the entire Lenihan family. May God be with you all during this troubling time.

We are so sorry to hear of Georgette’s passing. She and Mom were great friends, as were Jack and Dad. Mom is still hanging in there at Rosedale Green.
