Glenn M. “Whitey” Kidd, 96, of Taylor Mill, KY, passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2017. He proudly served his country during WWII and was a recipient of the Purple Heart and Silver Cross during his tour in the Phillipines while in the U.S. Army. Whitey was a retired Mail and File Clerk with the ATF Division of the IRS and he enjoyed fishing, bowling and spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife: Edith Margaret Rottgers Kidd and granddaughter: Jessica Kidd Vogelpohl. He is survived by his daughter: Glenda (Tom) Riggs; son: Joe (Jeriann) Kidd; 6 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2017 from 10:00 A.M. until the Catholic Blessing at 12:00 P.M. (Noon) at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015. Entombment with Military Honors: Mother of God Cemetery.
