Glenna Cox Akers, 87, of Latonia, KY, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2017. She was a member of Sounds of Victory Church in Cold Spring, KY and enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Glenna was preceded in death by her 1st husband: James Cox; her 2nd husband: Jake Akers and her parents: Charlie and Axie Lanham. She is survived by her son: James R. Cox, Jr.; her grandson: James (Michelle) Cox, III; 3 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Friday, May 5, 2017 from 10:00 A.M. until the funeral service at 12:00 P.M. at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015.
