Grace Geneva Sipple, 91, of Corbin, KY and formerly of Villa Hills, KY, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2016. She was a homemaker and a member of the former Hilltop Church of Christ. Geneva enjoyed cooking, sewing and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death hy her husband: Howard B. Sipple; grandson: Raymond Dale Sipple; sisters: Rose Lambert and Imogene Martin and brother: Carl Shell. Geneva is survived by her son: Bernie W. Sipple; grandchildren: Lisa Sipple, Pippy Sipple, Judy (Kevin) Newman, Melodie Sipple, Bernie (Theresa) Sipple, II and Kerry Sipple; 8 great-grandchildren and her brother: Bill (Dolores) Shell. Visitation will be at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015 on Friday, July 29, 2016 from 11 AM until the funeral service at 2 PM. We, me and Sandy, sorry to hear your lose for the Sipple family. I can remember Geneva would make the best fudge of all sorts during Christmas and hand them out a Hilltop Church of Christ. I also came over their house to serve communion to Howard and was glad to serve for him in his time of need.

I am so sorry to hear about Aunt Geneva. She was a true role model to all of her nieces. I will always remember her as the perfect 50’s housewife and mom. She was truly a classy lady. I have a grand daughter named Lauren Grace and it was chosen because it was a family name. Her nickname is Gracie, so I will think of this wonderful lady every time I hear her called that.
