Henry “Doug” Godman, 50, of Florence, KY passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2017. He was a delivery driver for Amazon. Doug enjoyed music and concerts, especially attending rock concerts with his sister and friends. He also enjoyed fishing. Doug is survived by his father: Henry “Butch” Godman; mother: Karen (George) Ripberger; sister: Kim (Tony) Godman Baker; step-sisters: Tracy (Tom) Barnett and Allison (Matthew) Bill; step-brother: Greg (Laura) Ripberger; uncles: John Godman and Ed Godman and several nieces and nephews. A visitation will take place on Friday, July 28, 2017 at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015 from 1:00 P.M. until the memorial service at 2:00 P.M. Butch, Karen, and George: please accept my most sincere sympathy in the loss of you son Doug. Parents just aren’t supposed to bury their children. How sad!
