Hope Elizabeth Whitson

February 2, 1945 - March 7, 2024

Hope Elizabeth Whitson, 79, of Latonia, KY, passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church and owner/operator of Miss Hope Sewing and Mending. Hope was preceded in death by her husband: Russell Whitson and sons: Tommy Chaffin and Ronnie Whitson. She is survived by her children: Janie Smith, Tim Chaffin and Randy Whitson; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Visitation will take place at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015 on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 from 10:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 12:00 PM (noon). Entombment: Mother of God Cemetery, Ft. Wright, KY. Memorials are suggested to: Bible Baptist Church, 6093 Taylor Mill Rd., Covington, KY 41015. We've only been your next door neighbor for five years, but we feel we've known you all our life. We know you were always grateful when we sent dinner to you, but when you were out shopping, you brought dinner to us. We could talk about just anything. We laughed a lot together and yes we cried together too. We look out our side window and feel you should be there. Heaven will never be the same now that you are there. We love you so. Dave and Lee

I'm going to miss Mrs Hope. She did alot of sewing for me. Also she was the first one to offer a sympathy card to me when my wife died in 2012 and she always remembered my birthday. I will miss her. I will see her again. Thank you Mrs Hope for everything.
