James Carter, 81, of Taylor Mill, KY passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood, KY. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, retired from Miller Distribution and a member of Moose Lodge #1469 and Latonia A/C. James was an avid softball player and loved hunting, fishing and boating. He is survived by his Loving Wife: Charlotte L. Carter, they would have celebrated 58 years of marriage on September 7, 2015; Sons: James (Terri) Carter, Jr. and Rodney (Karen) Carter; Grandchildren: Jimmy and Brieanna Carter and Sisters: Wanda Seither and Judy Weheit. Visitation will be on Sunday, July 26, 2015 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015. Funeral Service will be on Monday, July 27, 2015 at 12:00 PM at Connley Brothers Funeral Home. Interment will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill, KY. Charlotte, Jimmy and Rod, Our hearts are heavy with sadness at Jim’s passing. Although we left Taylor Mill years ago, we never left our memories of Homestead Drive. Jim was a good friend and a good neighbor. We send our love and our prayers to you.
