October 21, 1951 - July 20, 2015
James Arthur Hurst, Jr., 63, of Florence, KY passed away on July 20, 2015. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam. James was a Cable Installer, Volunteer at Community Food Bank and was an avid Baseball fan and enjoyed U.K. Basketball. He was preceded in death by his Parents: James and Nellie Hurst; Sister: Janet Coyle and Brothers: Randy Murphy and Kenny Murphy. James is survived by his Sisters: Judy (Elbert) Petrey, Brenda (Dennis) Mathis, Gayle (Steven) Browning and Sandra (Don) Simpson and Brother: Gary (Sandra) Murphy. Graveside and Honor Guard Service will be on Friday, July 24, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Independence Cemetery in Independence, KY. Memorials are suggested to www.heart.org. I remember Jimmy from High School, we graduated the same year, ’69. Haven’t seen him since then, I moved away right after graduation, but I do fondly remember Jimmy. He was a HELLOFA nice guy. Had a warming smile. My heart goes out to you in your loss, its all our loss.
