Sincerest condolences from the Theis family. Jim had a heart of gold. His years of service to St. Bens and the Vincent de Paul society will not be forgotten, nor will his kindness toward my dad and mom and the rest of our family. Jim and his family will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers in the days ahead.

What a gift he was to each of us who had the honor of serving with him. Jim was a champ at good ol firehouse sarcasm which made even the intended recipient laugh, but think twice before us young "dummys" made our next move. His gruff first impression gave way to a caring man and mentor. Rest in peace Jim.
Jim Anstead - May 30, 2020
Behind a seemingly gruff exterior was concealed a loyal heart and a truly selfless attitude. You would have great difficulty attempting to calculate the hours he freely donated to help others.

Jim will be missed by many at St. Ben’s and St. Vincent de Paul Society. My family would visit Diskin family regularly. We called Jim’s Mom and Dad -Aunt Rita & Uncle Walt. It was much later that I realized we really were related. “Uncle” Walt was an Army buddy with my Dad. My brother John and I send prayers to Sue and family. May Jim Rest In Peace!

Jim will be missed at our Parish and by me personally. We have been involved in Saint Vincent De Paul for several years making home visits. Working together at various St Benedict projects, I know Heaven is in for a shake up.
