Janet Elaine Lillard (nee McGraw), 87, of Florence, KY, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was a member of Short Creek Baptist Church in Falmouth, KY and a graduate of Simon Kenton High School in Independence, KY. Janet worked for the IRS in Covington, KY for over 30 years. She loved history, reading, animals, horseback riding and playing cards. Janet was preceded in death by her sons: Keith Lillard and Tracy Lillard; former husband: William C. "Bill" Lillard; parents: Clarence and Willa McGraw; siblings: Clara Callis Luna, Helen Fisk, Dorothy Glenn, Anne Soudrette, Harold McGraw and Robert McGraw and grandson: Brian Lillard. She is survived by her daughters: Kathy and Karen; brother: Jim McGraw; grandchildren: Rob (Katie), April, Justin (Candace), Bill and Rachael; 7 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. No visitation will take place. A private graveside service will take place at the convenience of the family at Independence Cemetery in Independence, KY.
