Janice Marie Thornton Duncan, 83 of Florence, KY passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2024. Janice was of the catholic faith. She loved living at Perry Park, golfing, and feeding the deer. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, word searches, and reading. It has been said that she was refreshingly feisty, wonderful caregiver and mentor. It was also said that she will be met at the pearly gates by a host of friends. Janice remained positive and with her good sense of humor even with all that she was going through. She was preceded in death by her husband: Wayne G. Duncan and son: Stephen E. Duncan. Janice is survived by her children: Martin V. (Lori) Duncan; Teresa M. (Tim) Thompson and Barton J. (Toni) Duncan; siblings: Beverly Leslie; Julie (Orester) Hollie; and Patrick (Michelle) Thornton; 10 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. A visitation will take place on Monday, June 17, 2024 from 10:00AM until the time of Memorial Service at 12:00PM (Noon) at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015. Interment will take place at Highland Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell, KY. Memorial donations in Janice's name may be made to Kenton County Animal Services, 1020 Mary Laidley Road, Covington, KY 41017.
