I want to extend my deepest condolences to the entire Ryan/Wellbrock family. I had the pleasure of meeting and knowing Janice through Rachel and Brennan. I will never forget the first time I met her, and felt her love and she impacted me during our conversation during Rachel’s bridal shower and every time afterwards . Janice was a bright light and positive spirit, and loved her family fiercely. I am sure that love will have a continuous ripple effect forever.

Janice and I were neighbors for 35 years. In that time I spent time chatting with her as I walked past her home and sometimes walking with her if we were both out walking. She was always asking about the family and usually knew the news on the street before anyone else. In addition to being lovely on the outside, she was lovely on the inside She was a kind person, who was concerned for others. She loved her family and there were often family members at the house visiting. She was my first piano student and I often wondered if she really wanted to take lessons or just wanted to get together to chat; she always played everything perfectly! She will be missed by everyone on our street. It will be hard to walk past her home and know that I will never see her out in the yard again. But I do know that I will see her again in heaven. And that is a comfort. May Janice's family feel the love of Jesus' as he wraps them each in his loving arms giving them peace that passes all understanding.

To the whole Ryan clan, you have my deepest sympathies. I was shocked when my daughter, Katie, told me that she had passed away. Together we were volunteers at St. Gabriel for almost 20 years as we raised our children. Whether it was PTA, serving as room mothers and cafeteria helpers, presenting Everybody Counts, tallying magazine and candy sales, helping at Field Day, the Halloween Bazaar or festivals, Janice was a constant presence and a dear friend. Although our lives have taken us in different directions, I know the pain of losing your mom near the holidays. As a wise friend told me years ago, "When you lose a loved one at a young age, you do not have to watch them grow old". Janice will forever be remembered as a vibrant, beautiful and gracious lady. I rejoice at having known her!

Janice was a committee member of the Jonquilmeadow Block Party. She was kind, generous, and easy to get along with. Janice walked in the light with Christ and reflected His light to those she encountered. We are blessed to have had her as a neighbor and we will miss her dearly!

Janice was like a second mom when I was younger. She would root just as hard for me in my races as my own parents would. She was always smiling and that smile left a lasting mark on my memory. The world was better with her in it and it's so much better off with her mark on so many lives. She will be missed. Love you Ryans.
