Jerome H. "Jerry" Berling, Sr., 82, of Cold Spring, KY passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2021. He was a retired window clerk with the U.S. Postal Service after 34 years of service, a member of Mother of God Church, an Honorable Kentucky Colonel, an inductee into the N KY Sports Hall of Fame and a recipient of a Key to the City of Covington. He was preceded in death by his parents: Hy and Roberta Berling and a grandson: Eric Brown. Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 61 years: Susan C. Wedderstrand Berling; children: Connie (Carl) Gillum, Christie Berling, Cathy Berling and Jerry (Kim) Berling, Jr.; brother: Gordon (the late: Verna) W. Berling; 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Mother of God Catholic Church, 119 West 6th Street, Covington, KY 41011 on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at 12:05 PM.
