My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I went to school with Jerry. Many fond memories.

To the Fickes, Koops and Jones’…what can I say that I am sure you haven’t heard a thousand times, I love and miss him. He has given me advice, corrected and kept me grounded when I needed it. He was the first to congratulate you and the first to buy you a drink. Even the smallest accomplishment landed you dinner with him. I have known him for a long time. How long I am not sure….forever? A piece of my heart is gone which like all of you will take a long time to grow back, if ever. But, when I am down I think of the one liners my friend would say that always made me smile. Put the bulldog away..I don’t dance in town and Davey-boy, like my old man used to say…you never have time to do it right but always have enough time to fix it. I will always miss you my friend.

Dear Cathy Jo and family, I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. I did not find out in time to express my condolences in person. I am sure he was a well-loved man and will be sorely missed by everyone who knew and loved him. You have my best wishes and warmest sympathy.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this very difficult time.

I had the pleasure of knowing Jerry through a mutual friend (Mark). I met Jerry through Better Bodies 13 years ago and BS’d with him regularly at the gym. I had the pleasure of taking a golf trip with him and friends down in Ky. On this trip I realized what a good person he was. We bonded during some personal issues we were going through around the same time. I truly hate to hear of Jerry’s passing and my condolences to his family. They were definitely the most important part of his life.
