Joan A. Schunder (Nee: Bessler), 84, of Florence, KY passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2023. She was a homemaker, member of St. Pius X Church and a former customer service representative with Record Storage Centers. Joan was preceded in death by her siblings: Pat (Jim) Overley, Boots (Bud) Piper and John (Mary) Bessler. She is survived by her loving husband of 62+ years: Bill Schunder; children: Mary Christine (David) Henkel, Mary Victoria Haddix, Mary Jeanne (Allen) Griffith and Joseph W. (Lynda) Schunder; 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Joan donated her body to the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. A Celebration of Life Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Pius Catholic Church, 348 Dudley Road, Edgewood, KY 41017 on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 11:00 AM.
