Joan M. "Joanie" Hoffmeister, 64, of Cold Spring, KY passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 after a short battle for life (not covid related). Joanie was a current employee of Fifth-Third Bank where she has worked for 20 plus years as a lien release quality control title clerk. She loved her job and loved her co-workers. Joanie was preceded in death by her parents: Mary Meese Hoffmeister and George Hoffmeister; siblings: Mary Jo Hoffmeister, Robert H. Hoffmeister, William Douglas Hoffmeister and Judi Hoffmeister. She is survived by her brothers: Gerald (Jerry) and his wife Mary Arnzen Hoffmeister, John (Jack) and his wife Kathy Neises Hoffmeister; sisters-in-law: Donna Moore Hoffmeister and Judy Hausfeld Hoffmeister. Joanie is survived by her precious nieces: Shannon Hoffmeister and Jeanna (Andy) Powers, Lisa Hoffmeister, Kimberly (Brandon) Hart and Kristen (Jason) Buell and nephews: Matthew Hoffmeister, Eric (Tracey) Hoffmeister and Brad Hoffmeister. She is also survived by 13 adorable great-nieces and great-nephews and beloved friend: Donna Harris Knapmeyer. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at St. Benedict Church, 338 E 17th Street, Covington, KY 41014 from 5:00 PM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 7:00 PM. Interment will be on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at 11:00 AM Mother of God Cemetery, Ft. Wright, KY. Memorials are suggested to: St. Benedict Church.
