Joan Elizabeth McGearty, 89, of Newport, KY, passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2017. She was a retired social worker and a member of the Catholic Faith. Joan was preceded in death by her son: Terry Seiler. She is survived by her daughters: Kathy (Paul) Webster, Joyce (Bob) Chastang and Becky (Becky) Seiler; sons: Vince (Kathy) Seiler, Joe Seiler and Richard Seiler; 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Per Joan’s wishes, there are no services planned at this time. Her body was donated to the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.
