Joan Agnes Moore, age 84 of Latonia, KY passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Health Care in Edgewood, KY. She retired as a Secretary with the John Van Range Company in Cincinnati, Ohio, prior to that she did the Payroll with AT & T in Cincinnati, Ohio. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, going to Church festivals and spending time with her family. She was a member of St. Benedict Church. Joan was preceded in death by her Husband: Clifford J. Moore in 2007. Joan is survived by her Daughter: Kathy (Kelsey) Robins of Covington, KY; Son: Michael J. (Gwyn) Moore of Florence, KY; Brother: Father Robert Nieberding of Lexington, KY; 4 Grandchildren: Sarah, Paul, Jeremy and Samantha; 2 Great Grandchildren: Julia and Savanna. The Visitation will be on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Connley Brothers Funeral Home in Latonia, KY from 4 PM until 7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, March 14, 2014 at St. Benedict Church 338 East 17th Street Covington, KY 41014 at 10 AM. Interment in Floral Hills Cemetery. Dear Kathleen and Kelsey,
You’ve been in my thoughts and prayers over these last days since your Mom’s death. Although I know you’re rejoicing for her now that she’s free from all of life’s cares, it’s still a very sad time.
I would be at the funeral if I could but I work first shift every Friday. I enjoyed meeting both of you so much and appreciated your testamony of love, commitment, and compassion not only for your Mom but for each other as well.
