Ed Your mom was one of the kindest people that I knew. She and your dad came in the Kroger Store at 15th and Madison where I worked, and she always had a smile and never failed to say hi. I hope you can find comfort in knowing that she has been reunited with your dad. My prayers are with you and your family.

I love Joann like a mother! Endless days listening to the Reds in the old lawn chair. She gave me my first sip of beer (lol) on a hot sunny day in July! The beer was hot like the day, I never drank beer again! She gave me my first job cutting grass with her, showed me how to save money at the savings and loan with quarter books. Stopped by the old dry cleaner’s several times to say hi, they showed me what a great marriage looked like. So happy when she got to attend our wedding. Ed, I’m so sorry! Love you like an older brother and great friend.
