John Clay Doherty, 66, of Taylor Mill, KY, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2024. John was a retired Ironworker with Local 44 and a 1977 graduate of Covington Holmes High School. He was an avid football fan who enjoyed jet-skiing and boating. John loved to travel to Florida, especially St. Pete Beach. He was preceded in death by his parents: Al and Pat Doherty; son: Branden Andrew Doherty and siblings: Marti Doherty, Mike Doherty and Bobby Doherty. John is survived by his loving wife of 40 years: Linda Doherty (nee Talbert); siblings: Eddie Doherty and David (Michele) Doherty; sister-in-law: Debbie Doherty and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 from 11:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 1:00 PM at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015.
