John "Jack" Mueller, Latonia. Jack was born on January 29, 1940 to the late John and Pearl (Ripberger) Mueller. He was raised as a single child in the countryside of Alexandria, KY and went to St. Mary's Church and School, graduating from Campbell County High School in 1959. Jack married his wife, JoAnn (Feldman) Mueller, in 1963 and moved to Latonia, KY, where they raised a family of eight children and attended Holy Cross Church. He worked hard for 40 years as a Supervisor at Ford Motor Company, and he greatly valued giving his children a Catholic education, a mother who stayed home with them, and a road trip in the RV each summer. "Action Jack" loved drinking beer with friends and family at festivals and parties. Coaching his daughter's teams was also a joy to him. Jack was easy to talk with, laughed a lot and was always loved by all. His legacy of kindness, faith, humor and hard-work lives on in those that he's survived by, including his wife of 57 years, JoAnn Mueller, and his eight children: John Mueller, Jeanne (Mike) Streitz, Jenny (Gerry) Bergman, Jeff (Sheila) Mueller, Jill (Sean) Dawkins, Jodi (Nick) Klaiss, Julie (Frank) Morano and her twin Janna (Chris) Ising. "Grandpa Jack"/"Papa" is also survived by 11 wonderful grandchildren: Andrew (Taylor), Matthew, Anna and Emily Bergman; Samantha Mueller; Charlie, Suzette and Lily Klaiss; Simon and Arthur Ising; Frankie Morano. Additionally, "Uncle Jack" is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. In his later years, Jack courageously fought declining health. Thank you to everyone who helped care for him during this time. Jack passed peacefully on June 11, 2020, age 80. Mass of Christian burial will be at Holy Cross Church, 3612 Church Street, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015 on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at 6:00 PM. Burial immediately following at Mother of God Cemetery. If desired, memorials can be made to Holy Cross Church "restoration fund". A party to celebrate Jack's life will be held in the future. Deepest sympathy to Joann and the whole family. Jack was always joking around and loved having fun. He always told it like it was even if you didn't want to hear it. He loved his family and always put them first. He was truly one of a kind. Many prayers to the families.

Uncle Jack, the funniest Uncle ever. You always knew what to say to make me laugh. So gentle and kind. Always someone I looked up to. I remember you taking us to your Mother's house/farm and we got to pick the yellow squash she made for us to eat. My first time trying it and it was so good! We always had to eat everything on our plate at your house. I've gotten an appreciation for the gifts God provides us, but till this day, I still hate broccoli! You will be missed. My prayers and thoughts are with Aunt Joann and my cousins. Paul Willing

To the family of Jack, I send my deepest condolences to you all. Jack was so special to me! His arrogant friendly attitude just clicked so perfectly in my heart. Reminding me of my father in law that passed before knowing him. It was a blessing to me to be able to care for Jack as he was just I can’t even describe it I guess you would say a reminder of my father in law. Even on Jacks worst days he tried so hard to be kind and never once did he fail to ask me how my children were. Jack was so loving. He made me smile and giggle every day I got to spend with him. It was truly an honor! He was a great man and loved beyond the stars! The family was great to me during my time with their loved one and I couldn’t will never forget them! I loved Jack like he was my own granddad. He sure was a stickler about his eggs though they had to be done just the way Jill showed me how, even though he would still eat them and then complain later. Lol Jack touched my heart in a way i couldn’t understand and I sure was blessed when the family asked me about to care for him. It was sometimes a struggle with him but nonetheless he always showed he cared and tried! Jack, you give em hell up in heaven buddy and tell Julie I love her! Until we meet again and can have a beer in heaven rest easy my friend! Much love, Amanda To the family, I want to thank you all for the amazing opportunity I had caring for Jack a little over a year it was awesome! He was my buddy and I appreciate the courage and belief you had in me to give such a delegate opportunity to. It was beyond an honor!!! I love all of you dearly. May God give you comfort and understanding in such a time of grief. May he wrap his loving arms around you and give you peace knowing that Jack is with the best doctor and healer we all know and is no longer in pain. Thank you again. -Amanda

What a wonderful picture of Jack! I'm so sorry for your loss of such an amazing man. I went to school with his older kids and, my daughters played softball (kind of) with his younger kids. He was a mighty patriarch of a great family and, will be missed by all. RIP Mr. Mueller
