Joseph M. Silvey, Sr., 77, of Independence, KY, passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at Bridge Point Center in Florence, KY. He worked as a Mechanic for Cincinnati Engine. Joseph loved Nascar, Dirt Track Racing, Drag Racing and UK Wildcats Basketball. Joseph is survived by his Daughter: Victoria Lynn (Jerry) Britnell; Sons: Joseph (Lisa) Silvey, Jr., Michael Wayne Silvey, Joey Dale Brown and Christopher Lee Brown; 4 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday, September 6, 2014 from 12:00 PM until the Funeral Service at 2:00 PM at Connley Brothers Funeral Home in Latonia, KY.
