Julia A. Boyle Scott, 93, of Independence, KY, passed away on Friday, December 22, 2023. She was a former hairdresser and accomplished seamstress. Julia was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Taylor Mill, KY. She was preceded in death by her husband: John F. Scott and son: Richard B. Scott. Julia is survived by her children: Robert (Charlotte) Scott, Kenneth Scott, Deborah (Robert) Burkhart and Terese (Lee) Meeks; 9 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will take place at St. Patrick Church, 3285 Mills Road, Taylor Mill, KY 41015 on Thursday, January 11, 2024 beginning at 4:00 PM until a eulogy at 4:45 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 5:00 PM. Entombment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Holy Cross High School, 3617 Church Street, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015.
