Karen Lynn Cooper Meier, age 67 of Edgewood, KY passed away on July 24, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Health Care in Edgewood, KY. She was a Retired Nurse Practitioner with 35 plus years of service. A member of Hilltop Church of Christ and earlier in her life she was a member of Latonia Christian Church. Karen was also a member of Mental Health Association of N. KY. Board of Director’s, Redwood School Board of Director’s, Republican Women’s Club of N. KY. and CASA Board of Director’s. She was preceded in death by her Parents: Harry and Sally Cooper and a Sister: Joyce Duncan. Karen is survived by her Sons: David (Mari Lyn) Meier and Matthew (Susan) Meier; Sisters: Gayle (Robert) Bernhard and Sandy (Steve) Grawe; 5 Grandchildren: Cooper, Benjamin, Jack, Robert and Madison. The Visitation will be on Monday, July 29, 2013 at Connley Brothers Funeral Home in Latonia, KY from 10:30 AM until the Funeral Service at 12:30 PM. Interment in Floral Hills Cemetery. We are so sorry for your loss. Karen was a big part of our lives for many years, she and Becky (Wood) spent lots of time together. I think we all fell in love with her “cabin”. She always had interesting stories to tell and was always helpful in any way she could.
