Kathie L. Baker, 71, of Independence, KY passed away on Thursday, June 17, 2021. She was a retired credit counselor. Kathie spent her life in the credit counseling industry and enjoyed helping people get their lives back on track. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other family members. Kathie was preceded in death by her mother: Marilyn K. Bishop. She is survived by her children: Dennis Baker, Michelle Faeth, Brian Ahlbrand, Bruce Ahlbrand and Brad Ahlbrand; sisters: Jackie Steffen, Claudia Jacobs and Cherie Hicks, 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Visitation will take place at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Latonia, KY 41015 on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 from 10:00 AM until the Memorial Service at 12:00 PM (Noon). Interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Southgate, KY will take place at a later date. Memorials are suggested to Tunnel To Towers c/o t2t.org.
