Kathleen "Kathy" M. Thelen, 80, of Ft. Mitchell, KY passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2019. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Agnes Parish in Fort Wright, KY. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents: William and Dorothy Sweeney; daughter: Jami Leininger and grandson: Brad Leininger. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years Jim Thelen; daughters: Jodi (Tom) Fahey and Juli (Jerry) Roe; son: Jeff (Kathleen G.) Thelen; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and son-in-law: Marty Leninger. Visitation will be on Monday, December 9, 2019 from 10:30 AM until a Catholic Blessing at 12:00 PM (Noon) at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015. Inurnment: Mother of God Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Redwood Rehabilitation Center, 71 Orphanage Road, Fort Mitchell, KY 41017.
