I am sorry to hear about Keith’s passing. My father is Mack Viars and I believe that I have part of your family tree in his genealogy report that he did back in the early 90’s. My Grandfather is Lige Viars and my uncle is Wilber Viars.
My prayers and thoughts are with the family.

Mr. Keith Viars was one of my favorite students, and one of my favorite people at Cincinnati State. He set the standard for respect and was a father figure to many. After he completed my composition class, we still kept in touch during conversations in the hallway. I often shared with him that he was a role model to me. He still is.

Khalia Shaw, Marketing Dept. - Oct 6, 2016

Keith will be sorely missed. We always spoke to each other in the halls or when he delivered mail to the Marketing Department. I only recently found out he was actually a student at the College, he had a wonderful disposition. I will hold you in my prayers as you grieve the loss of your loved one, and my peer. An angel is now watching over us all.

Ruth Miller/Finance Dept. - Oct 6, 2016

Keith was a great guy. I spoke with him everyday and he always had a smile on his face and positive things to say. I have a daughter that attends school here and I remember he and I having a conversation about our girls!! He will be missed tremendously!! I think I’m still in shock!! What a great guy he was!!

Student Support Services - Oct 6, 2016

Keith was a member of Student Support Services at Cincinnati State Technical & Community College. He loved stopping in the office just to check on us and to get tutoring when needed. He will be missed, but will be remembered as a dedicated student. We extend our thoughts and prayers to the family during these extremely difficult times. It was our pleasure to be a part of his life. We smile when we think of him.
